About

About the Summit

Business leaders, experts, think tanks and NGOs discuss Europe’s competitiveness, economic security, industrial and digital transformation in a rapidly changing global environment, with a strong focus on moving from legislation to delivery.

The main theme of the event – security and competitiveness – will be the starting point for a debate divided into following sections:

Turn decarbonisation challenges into opportunities to strengthen Europe’s industrial competitiveness, clean-tech development and raw materials autonomy. This session focuses on a holistic, value-chain approach to the transition, addressing the tensions between climate goals, investment costs and the global competitiveness of European industry

Unlock synergies between finance and innovation to turn Europe’s competitiveness agenda into investable growth. This session explores how capital can effectively reach infrastructure, industry and scale-ups, addressing the missing financing link between innovation and market deployment while aligning public instruments, private capital and risk allocation.

Build industrial capability for Europe’s secure future by strengthening defence production, supply chains and security of supply. This session brings together public and private sector leaders to discuss capability gaps, joint procurement, innovation and the long-term competitiveness of the European defence industrial base.

A space where the next generation of ideas meets decision-makers. This curated innovation arena gives young founders, researchers and early-stage innovators from Central and Eastern Europe the opportunity to present bold ideas and receive direct, forward-looking feedback from senior experts across business, academia and public administration.

Business & Science Poland

Business & Science Poland (BSP) is the largest Polish business organization in Brussels and a multi-sectoral platform that connects the leading Polish enterprises and the R&D community with the EU agenda. We represent – among others - industrial, chemical, transport, financial and digital sectors and are committed to upholding the core values of the EU while driving its transformation in a responsible and effective manner.

The main task of BSP in Brussels is to strengthen the representation of Polish economic interests in order to obtain favorable EU regulations, which will be beneficial for Polish companies and enable them to develop further. BSP is also a platform for meetings with business partners and a venue for substantive debates on legislative acts.

Spark

SPARK (Spacecraft Platform Architecture for Research and Key-enabling missions) is a groundbreaking project by the Łukasiewicz Research Network. The initiative is jointly implemented by Łukasiewicz – ILOT (leader), Łukasiewicz – IMN, and Łukasiewicz – PIAP.

CubeSat 3U satellites are small, modular devices measuring 10 × 10 × 30 cm. Their key advantages include low production and launch costs. Despite their compact size, they are capable of performing advanced scientific and engineering missions, such as testing new engineering solutions or supporting satellite communications

E3

The exhibition highlights the strategic role of crystalline materials in modern defense systems, including sensing, infrared and laser technologies, secure communications, navigation, and high-performance electronics. These materials ensure exceptional accuracy and stability, even in extreme conditions. Centre of Excellence Ensemble3 designs and processes advanced crystals for defense, aerospace, photonics, and high-efficiency technologies where precision and reliability are critical.

FiDU Protective

FiDU Protective Panels is a lightweight, chamber-based protection system made using Free Internal Pressure Forming technology. Panels are transported flat and expanded on site into 3D structures, then filled with media such as sand or water to create modular, energy-absorbing barriers. They protect against blast, fragments, fire and vehicle impact. With expansion up to 1:30, the system reduces logistics costs and enables fast, scalable deployment.
